You’re not distracted by your phone
Should I hold my texts
And take time to reflect
Or fire away
Because you have it at bay
I don’t know
It’s hard to say
I turn on Do Not Disturb every day
I keep it that way
What’s the alternative
Disturb me, please
Yes that’s the affirmative
No thanks no way
I like my peace
I like my friends
But stop texting me, please
I’m just as bad, I have ADD
So let’s make a deal
Let’s all agree
The world won’t end
If we turn off notifications
Check now and then
And lower our expectations
