Great read, Memo! Technology is perfectly aligned with notions of gods (or spirits, for that matter): the disembodied energy of data is easily transmitted into a supernatural realm. And why not? Even something as mundaine as Bitcoin is ‘mined’ as if by dwarves in Middle Earth 😀
