You should read Fooled by Randomness from Taleb. There’s an entire chapter dedicated to this attitude.

So many great books mentioned here. One name that I think is missing and one of my top 5 investing books is @nntaleb Fooled By Randomness. Imho the best book on risk together with Howard Mark’s The Most Important Thing.

Fooled by Randomness is such a great book that you don’t even need to read it to learn something. Just the book title alone is a lesson.

I used to recommend that order too, but I think for people new to NNT, they'd get a better overview of his ideas from Antifragile. But I absolutely recommend reading all the Incerto.
