.@FoldableHuman's feature film-length NFT rant is disappointing. Not because of his opinion, but because he trades honesty for his own cherry-picked information to avoid any level of nuance that doesn't reinforce his (or your) opinion. It's like watching Tucker Carlson IMO
It's easy to make a video contributing to polarization. It's hard to make your viewers understand a complicated topic. The sermon contributed nothing to creators other than misleading them or creating more divisiveness and punishment for trying to make a living off of their work.
I'd offer to host a panel with @foldablehuman, @timexile, and perhaps @AFDudley0 or @balajis to actually debate some of these challenging topics with friendly, knowledgeable people capable of nuance. But I know Dan would never do that after making a video that deceptively biased.
And before I get piled on, I'm not "pro-NFT". If you're "pro/anti non-interchangeable unit of data" then you need to go outside more.
I am pro-giving my viewers an honest take and letting them make up their own minds. Like I did last year on this topic.
