I've tried hundreds of business tools. Here are the one's I can't live without.

🧵
1. Google Search Console. If you're running a website online, this is one of the most important dashboards in your business.

Find the exact search terms you're ranking for, Google Discover traffic, and more.

Plus, there's a ton of "quick wins" when you know where to look!
2. Google Analytics. Another essential for every website owner. Google Analytics shows exactly how much traffic you're getting and where it's coming from.

Plus a bunch of other cool data like demographics, browser usage, time on site, and more.
3. ConvertKit. We generate over a million visits to our website each month using ConvertKit and daily broadcast emails.

It has everything you need to grow your audience.

@nathanbarry has completely transformed the world of email marketing.
@nathanbarry 4. Gusto. Once you become an S-Corp, a payroll service like @GustoHQ is going to make your life a LOT easier.
@nathanbarry @GustoHQ 5. Mediavine. A major source of revenue for any content website is ad revenue. But setting up Google Adsense by yourself will earn you a fraction of what you can earn with a proper ad management company like @mediavine.

Plus, they handle ALL of the techie stuff. Win-win.
@nathanbarry @GustoHQ @mediavine 6. Ahrefs. My go-to tool for keyword research. It's also one of the main reasons that our website generates over 6 million visitors per month.

If you're creating content, keyword research is your competitive advantage. @ahrefs also allows you to spy on your competitors.
@nathanbarry @GustoHQ @mediavine @ahrefs 7. SEMRush. Another fantastic keyword research tool. What I love about @semrush is you can find all of your competitors top traffic sources. Not just search traffic. So many gems here.
@nathanbarry @GustoHQ @mediavine @ahrefs @semrush 8. SurferSEO. The best all-in-one tool for on-page SEO optimization.
@nathanbarry @GustoHQ @mediavine @ahrefs @semrush 9. BigScoots. Best web hosting on the planet. And I've tried MANY.
@nathanbarry @GustoHQ @mediavine @ahrefs @semrush 10. Clickup. We manage our entire content workflow inside of Clickup. Content moves seamlessly from content brief creation, writing in progress, uploading to Wordpress, adding graphics, editing, and publishing.

@clickup saves hours and hours of management time every week.
@nathanbarry @GustoHQ @mediavine @ahrefs @semrush @clickup 11. Notion.so. This is like a lego set for entrepreneurs. I use it for journaling, weekly habit tracking, to-do lists, documenting thoughts and ideas, taking notes on the books I read, and SO much more. It's like a second brain.
@nathanbarry @GustoHQ @mediavine @ahrefs @semrush @clickup 12. Loom. Quick and easy-to-use tool for recording videos. I use this to record training for all of our team members.

Then I put those videos into folders so that I can save them as processes for the future.
@nathanbarry @GustoHQ @mediavine @ahrefs @semrush @clickup 13. Shutterstock. Every website needs great photos. Shutterstock is the best source I've found for high-quality photos at an affordable price.
@nathanbarry @GustoHQ @mediavine @ahrefs @semrush @clickup 14. Canva. I actually don't use this one personally. But we have an amazing graphic designer on our team who uses @canva daily. One of the best graphic design tools online.
@nathanbarry @GustoHQ @mediavine @ahrefs @semrush @clickup @canva 15. Clockify. I've tried a lot of different time tracking software and @Clockify is the best I've found. Creates fantastic reports. I use this to see where my time is being spent and what I need to delegate.

Entrepreneurship is a process of continuously firing yourself.
@nathanbarry @GustoHQ @mediavine @ahrefs @semrush @clickup @canva @Clockify 16. GoDaddy Bookkeeping. The EASIEST solution I've found online for automatically tracking income and expenses. SO much easier than Quickbooks.
@nathanbarry @GustoHQ @mediavine @ahrefs @semrush @clickup @canva @Clockify 17. Journaling. I use old-school composition books to do my journaling. It's been one of my biggest sources of growth.

Helps you create clarity around your thinking, solve challenges, come up with new ideas, and essentially coach yourself to higher and higher levels of growth.
