Accelerando - basically required reading to understand the modern era imo

Accelerando by Charles Stross is entirely about the phase where humanity achieves AGI.

Accelerando by Charles Stross. Follows three generations in a near-future setting that starts as a fast-paced, rapidly changing extrapolation of early 2000s trends and accelerates wildly from there.

Accelerando by Charles Stross has a lot of change in technology during the events of the book. I think there were a few year timeskips though.
