Looking back a few years I do miss how "together" it all felt. When something happened everyone would take time to pay attention and ponder it meaningfully.

Somewhere along the line things picked up speed and people started rushing each week toward the next big thing, barely paying attention to what they were fomoing into.

Events and auctions that previously would've taken weeks or months of planning and coordination quickly became "Here's my drop. Buy it. LFG. 🚀"
Quality turned to quantity and how fast you could get to the next release 💸

For many creators this was disappointing. Before, the space felt rewarding in that if you took time to do something (make art, curate, write a post, host an event, build a tool) others would pause and give notice.
Now, you might spend months only to open to crickets 🦗 👀

Another pivotal moment were influencers. These "few" ruled the traditional world (social media, politics, technology) and *part* of web3 (ICOs + DeFi) but hadn't yet conquered NFTs.
Then somewhere along the line "experts" (usually anon + NFT PFP) started dominating the airwaves.

Maybe it was clubhouse(?) but suddenly everywhere you looked there was a new expert emerging from the woodwork to give their advice on something they'd likely only learned about 2 months previously 🧠😂 
Part of that is still on us, I mean to be fair we still don't have a consistent entry point for those brand new to the space (NFT university anyone??)
So we can't blame curious beginners for seeking help from those that can shout the loudest 🤷

Where am I going with this? Well, I still love the #NFT space of course ❤️
I see 2019/2020 as our "Woodstock" moment. Sure, you had to be there to really experience it, but rock and roll didn't die after that. It continued evolving into something new 🎸

I see platforms like @oncyber x @monaverse x @Spatial_io x @readyplayerme taking up the mantle and continuing to push the limits of what a #metaverse meetup can look like ✊😎 
POAPs are still going strong (More QR codes for claiming them appearing IRL) and now that the pandemic is ending we're able to "Get Out While You Stay In" but in actual meatspace again. 
The world of NFTs continues to evolve and will almost certainly surprise us all where it goes from here 👀
