Bedri Ruhselman

Bedri Ruhselman (1898, Istanbul - 18 February 1960, Istanbul), physician, violin virtuoso and the founder of neo-spiritualism, or experimental neo-spiritualism (neo-spiritualisme expérimental), as it is called in Turkish. Dr. Bedri Ruhselman was born in 1898 in their own house in Setüstü, in the Fındıklı district of Istanbul. Ruhselman's genealogy goes back to the Shapsug branch of Circassians living in the Caucasus. His father was a senior military surgeon, Cemal Efendi, and his mother was Safiye Hanım, the daughter of the Kastamonu castle commander, Major Hüsnü Efendi. He developed spiritism based on reincarnation, known as spiritism and experimental spiritualism in Europe and the USA, and introduced new concepts to spiritism. He is considered to be the pioneer of metapsychic studies in Turkey. He has never been married. His body was buried in Zincirlikuyu Cemetery. His awaited book, which was kept secret for 54 years, first in the notary public and then in the bank vault, was published by MTİAD1950 Publishing House on April 2, 2013. In this book, God examines the issues of evolution and transmigration.
