Ender's Game's fantastic. Good point to see if you like sf imo. It's also not too long and you get a chance to see his writing. I also really enjoyed the Ender's Shadow series it's just that this series as a whole does not end well and frankly there's no NEED to read it all

I haven't read the others but The Shadow of the Wind is so amazing. It's melodrama, magic, beautiful writing, it's just brilliant especially if you're in the right mood. I have read Abraham's other books and loved them. I hear really good things about the rest so good luck!
