James Orr

Dr Orr is University Lecturer in Philosophy of Religion at the Faculty of Divinity, a position he took up after four years as a postdoctoral fellow at the McDonald Centre for Theology, Ethics, and Public Life at the University of Oxford. He holds a PhD and MPhil in Philosophy of Religion from the University of Cambridge and a BA in Literae Humaniores (Classics) from Balliol College, Oxford. Before entering academia, he worked in corporate law at Freshfield Bruckhaus Deringer and Sullivan & Cromwell.
