Valentin Fedorovich Turchin

Theoretical physicist, AI language developer. Graduated from Moscow University in Theoretical Physics and got his Ph.D. in 1957. Worked on neutron and solid-state physics before focusing on statistical regularization methods and developing REFAL, one of the first AI languages.
