Proust’s “In Search of Lost Time” is my favorite book. It took me 10 yrs of attempting & failing. Then out of nowhere, I could read it. Now I’ve read all of it 5 times. Ditto “Paradise Lost.” I’ve read it 5 times. What two favorite books took you many tries before they clicked?

Proust is my favorite book. It took me maybe ten years of attempting and failing. Then out of nowhere I could read it. Now I have read all 7 volumes five times.
