Have abstained from going on any podcasts so far... but huge fan of the @MuseAppHQ folks so decided to break that rule! Great chat with @_adamwiggins_ and @deadly_onion about read-it-later apps, the history of reading tech, readwise & more... came out super well imo :)

Just finished this book this week... potentially the most mind-bending scifi I've ever read. Strong recommendation (if you can handle a little horror and not being able to sleep after reading).

Yeah ok Matrix is pretty good.. I more meant that sci fi movies never really live up to how I imagine them in the books. Other genres (eg thrillers) definitely do. I've been sleeping on Daniel Suarez, gotta read him! What's his best book in your opinion?

Sorry man Arrival is midwit (short story good tho) The truth is there are basically no great sci fi movies. Maybe Contact or Interstellar fits both sides of the bell curve

yaaaa it's from the Culture Series which is really dope tho a bit pessimistic, basically humans are like cute little pets of super smart AI [link] if u read it, skip the first book in the series

I go to bed every night dreaming of finding a book as impactful, wide-reaching, and insightful as Beginning of Infinity :) Yes, fallibilism is basically the core tenet of David’s philosophy... it isn’t thr only topic in the book, but it is involved in most of them!

10/10 interview of @bhorowitz on the @breakfastclubam. Like a breath of fresh air after listening to 4732 tech podcasts with the same damn questions and topics.
